Northeast Colorado Exchange LLC is a family run business. Monty has been a master mechanic since 1980 and has been working on Honda Goldwing motorcycles for 4 years.  Cindy does the books and demonstrating of the Hannigan trikes.  We have two girls that have been working and traveling with us.  We became a dealer in November of 2003.  We plan on putting a Hannigan trike under anyone looking for adventure. Why go with a Hannigan Trike Harley Davidson?


INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION WITH SWAY BAR:  Trikes with solid axels have four times as much unsprung weight as the Hannigan trike, which has similar unsprung weight to the original Harley-Davidson.  More unsprung weight results in a ride which is much harsher. (Critical Law of Physics: For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction). 

Another negative effect of the solid axle is the sideways motion transmitted to the motorcycle seat.  When only one rear wheel of the trike hits a bump, which happens most of the time on most road surfaces, the sideways motion creates a very negative effect on your lower back (especially for the passenger).  Our independent suspension has almost no lateral forces on the motorcycle seat creating a much healthier, more comfortable ride.  Our 57-inch wide track and CRX sports car stabilizer bar has made ours one of the safest and most stable trikes available.  The Hannigan Trike with its wide track and CRX stabilizer, will out corner most trikes.  This superb combination will allow you to go quicker on corners than most of your two wheel companions.  This no compromise trike has the best combination of plush ride and sporty handling.

 

PROGRESSIVE SUSPENSION I.A.S. GAS SHOCKS:  These shocks are very user friendly.  Inertia-sensitive damping enables the wheel to react quickly to rough surfaces while still maintaining full damping control for taught, precise handling.

 

DRIVE TRAIN:  We use the original Harley-Davidson belt drive and sprocket. The original muffler is used.

 

VENTED DISC BRAKES:  Vented disc brakes cool quicker than regular disc brakes.

 

TAIL LIGHTS:  The Hannigan Trike uses the original Harley-Davidson tail light assembly and signal light assembly with chrome bar. 

 

STORAGE TRUNK:  The fully carpeted trunk will be approx. 5 cu.ft. 

 

STYLE:  Our aggressive looking hand laminated trike body with integrated front- and rear-ground effects is a real eye catcher that blends wonderfully with the H. D. FLH Series body style. To top it all off, we use custom Mag wheels with top-of-the-line Michelin tires.

 

The Hannigan Trike on the Harley-Davidson FLH Series has a 68 inch wheelbase and is 103 inches in length.

FORD THUNDERBIRD DIFFERENTIAL:  The differential has 2.73 gears and 14x 175/70 Michelin tires on custom Pacer Mag Wheels on the GL1500 and 15 x 185/65   Michelin tires custom Pacer Mag Wheels on the GL1800.
 
VENTED DISC BRAKES:  Vented disc brakes are standard on each rear wheel for quicker cooling and longer life.  Functioning ABS is maintained on GL1800 motorcycles equipped with the optional Honda Factory ABS system.
 
AUXILIARY FUEL TANK:  The tank holds approximately three gallons and has its own separate filler neck for convenience.  The fuel is transferred from the TIG-Welded heavy gauge aluminum tank to the main tank by the rider activated fuel pump.  The tank is located inside the trike frame to extend fuel range with maximum safety.
 
TAIL LIGHTS:  The GL1500 has automotive taillights with four brake lights, running and signal lights to ensure excellent visibility and safety.  The GL1800 standard vented ground effects allow air to pass through for better passenger comfort.  The high-tech original equipment saddlebag lights are integrated into the trike body. 
 
STORAGE TRUNK:  The spacious trunk is approx. 5 cu.ft. on the GL1500 and 7 cu. Ft. on the GL1800.  Which easily fits two full-face helmets and more.  A fully carpeted trunk is standard.  It opens with the original saddlebag levers under the Honda top box, retaining the single key locking feature, as well as the use of the remote. 
 
STYLE:  Our aggressive looking hand laminated trike body and standard front & rear ground effects is a real eye catcher that blends wonderfully with the GoldWing body style.  The original GoldWing mufflers exit behind the rear ground effects for a beautiful custom look.
 
1800 FOOT FAIRINGS:  They are molded in one piece, not bolted together in the center like other competitive products.  Providing increased strength and a cleaner appearance.

STORAGE TRUNK:  The fully carpeted spacious trunk is approx. 7 cu. ft., which easily fits two full-face helmets and more. 
 
STYLE:  Our aggressive looking hand laminated trike body and standard front and rear-ground effects is a real eye catcher that blends wonderfully with the BMW K1200LT body style.  The original BMW mufflers exit behind the rear-ground effects for a beautiful custom look.  To top it all off, we use custom Mag wheels with top-of-the-line Michelin tires.
 
The Hannigan trike on the BMW K1200LT has a 70-inch wheelbase and is 114 inches in length with Steer Lite installed.
